What better way to keep things popping at Westwood Wednesdays than with popcorn?

Wildtree Foods will be among the featured participants at the next event on Sept. 28 as kids wil2016 09 Westwood Wednesdayl get to flavor their own popcorn snack. And back by popular demand will be Bach to Rock Bethesda with its instruments and music games.

“We’ve been having a great time with the Westbard community,” said Billie Jo Joseph, Director of Bach to Rock Bethesda. “Music is truly universal, and Westwood Wednesdays has been a great opportunity to engage kids of all ages through fun activities that just might inspire a great young musician.”

Savory wood-fired pizza from The Rolling Brick food truck is on the menu, and is sure to be crowd pleaser. And as an official swan song to summer, Kona Ice will be selling its popular shaved ice treats.

The J & A Duo featuring Jerry Irwin and Amy Godeaux will provide the entertainment with music through the decades, perfect for kicking back while the kiddos enjoy the free activities.

Join the fun Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Westwood Shopping Center, 5400 Westbard Ave., Bethesda. Look for the picnic tables and umbrellas in the upper lot near Rite Aid.
