Soccer fun returns to Westwood Wednesdays Aug. 24

Larry the Lion and Brit-Am Soccer Academy return to Westwood Wednesday’s next week with pop-up soccer and fun skills games. The Aug. 24 event at Westwood Shopping Center in Bethesda will also feature free Popsicles while supplies last.

IMG_3904Just Gnocchi food truck is back with its pasta classics. And The Munchery, a home-delivery meal service, will also be on hand giving out dessert and snack samples. To add to the fun, The Munchery will also have free temporary tattoos for the kids.

This week’s live music is by Jerry Irwin, who will be playing a variety of music styles.

Westwood Wednesdays, at 5450 Westbard Ave., takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the upper lot by Rite Aid.

As always, there’ll be games like corn hole, ladder ball and ring toss. All activities are free, but come prepared to buy your dinner.
